BOWIE SELL OUT…….

Online retail giant Amazon has reportedly SOLD OUT of EVERY David Bowie album in the wake of the star’s passing earlier this week following a long term battle with cancer.

You can obviously still purchase the albums outside of Amazon, other sites do have copies of his music in stock and most of his LP’s are still available through third party vendors that do business through Amazon and they are all available for instant download through iTunes and Amazon.

The singers death this week has led to a huge increase in the popularity of his music, with many people taking to the internet to remember the music legend through his songs. Wi9thin minutes of the news of his death breaking he had songs in the top spot on both iTunes and Spotify and they have continued to be popular this week with 7 out of the top 20 singles currently on iTunes this morning being Bowie songs and 13 of the top 20 Albums the same – he currently has the all 5 of the top 5 selling albums on iTunes.

Spotify has reported that plays of Bowie’s back catalogue jumped a whopping 2700% after news of his death broke globally. This morning, his most streamed songs include the ballad Heroes, Queen collaboration Under Pressure, Life on Mars and Let’s Dance which are all in the global to 30 streamed songs.

There are reports that Amazon have raised the prices of Bowie music since his passing to capitalise on his death, however this is as yet unconfirmed………
