I require an experienced Sous chef to take on a permanent role at a country house hotel just outside of Wokingham, Berkshire to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen operation and deputise in the absence of the Head Chef. Efficiently ensuring the storage, preparation and service of food is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety Policies and as specified by the menus and working procedures of the Company.

The hours will be on a mixture of split and straight shifts on a 5 out of 7 rota - this WILL include evenings and weekends.

The position is available for an immediate start with a salary up to £23,000 for the ideal candidate. The position is Live out but accommodation is available for £45 per week - this includes utilies but DOES NOT include telephone bills or food.

The ideal candidate will have 706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent qualifications and experience of working in a Sous chef role in a Hotel Kitchen environment.

You must be able to uphold the high standards of food presentation under the high pressure environment of both the restaurant and function rooms.
