DASH WITH SANTA!

Hundreds of people dressed as Father Christmas will walk, run or cycle through Bracknell’s woodland this weekend.

The annual Santa Dash in aid of Thames Hospice will take place on Sunday, November 29, under Swinley Forest’s canopy.

The 5k Santa Dash run is for all ages and abilities, and dogs are welcome to.

There are two options for cyclists to choose from including the 10k route (over 10s) or the more challenging 15k route (over 16s).

All adults taking part in the race receive a free Santa suit whilst all children will receive reindeer antlers and a flashing nose.

Last year, around 350 runners put on their best Santa outfits for the event to raise around £25,000, with much-loved children’s television star Basil Brush also making an apperance.

The Thames Hospice work to provide expert nursing and medial care, with emotional and practical support for adults who have illnesses from which they are not expected to recover.

The care and support extends to family, friends and carers too.

Registration on the day begins at 9am and the race starts at 11am.
